The 2021 season saw a bit of a renaissance from the Williams Formula 1 outfit. The team took its first podium since 2017 when George Russell‘s stellar qualifying performance was rewarded with a second-place at the rain-affected Belgian Grand Prix. The team also secured their best points haul over the past four seasons en route to eighth in the championship.
With a huge technical overhaul on the horizon, the Grove-based outfit will be looking to make the most of their momentum as they look to challenge for points on a consistent basis in 2022. The team took to social media today to tease an image of what their 2022 challenger might look like if it were to use their 2021 livery.
With Russell departing the team and former Red Bull star Alex Albon coming in, it will be interesting to see how the historic outfit fares come 2022.
