If you’re wondering where to watch F1 Spanish GP 2025 live on TV or online, we’ve got you covered with everything you need to know. The Formula 1 season continues with round nine at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, and it’s shaping up to be a potentially decisive weekend.
Fresh off a dominant showing in Monaco, McLaren have surged to the front of both championships. Lando Norris took his second win of the year, while Oscar Piastri finished third to hold onto the points lead. Max Verstappen, meanwhile, remains within 25 points of the summit despite a tough weekend in Monte Carlo.
With new technical regulations coming into effect regarding flexible front wings, the 2025 Spanish Grand Prix could bring a major shake-up in the pecking order. That adds even more intrigue to a race already seen as one of the best performance benchmarks on the calendar.

Why the Spanish Grand Prix could change the season
Barcelona’s Circuit de Catalunya is known for exposing the strengths and weaknesses of every car. It combines fast corners, technical sections, and long straights—making it a true all-round test. Success here often translates to performance across much of the F1 calendar.
This year, that test is even more crucial. With the FIA’s new limits on flexi-wings coming into force, teams like Ferrari and Red Bull—who pushed for the change—are hoping to rein in McLaren’s recent dominance. As Frederic Vasseur put it, the update could be a “gamechanger.”
It’s also expected to be a dry and hot weekend, with temperatures around 27°C (80°F) and no rain forecast. That should ensure consistent track conditions for all sessions—and high tyre degradation to challenge strategies.
And with a move to Madrid set for 2026, this could be the last time F1 races in Barcelona for the foreseeable future, giving fans one more reason to tune in.
