The 2023 Emilia Romagna GP marks the start of the European season in Formula 1

    -

The European leg of the Formula 1 season begins in Imola with the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, so make sure you know all the F1 session times for the sixth round of 2023.

Imola returned to the calendar in 2020 and is one of F1‘s classic venues, with a history stretching back to 1980.

The 2023 Emilia Romagna GP takes place on the weekend of May 19-21 and will be a 63-lap race.

Red Bull continue to dominate the season, having won all five races so far and Max Verstappen leads the F1 driver standings by 14 points from teammate Sergio Perez.

Ferrari will be on home soil in Imola, whilst Mercedes and Aston Martin may fancy their chances with rain forecast throughout the weeekend.

When is the 2023 Emilia Romagna GP?

The 2023 Emilia Romagna GP will take place at Imola, which is one of the classic venues on the F1 calendar.

Unlike 2022, Imola is not a sprint weekend, so qualifying is scheduled for 15:00 UK time on Saturday and the Emilia Romagna GP at 14:00 on Sunday.
