Following an enthralling race in Austin, the Formula 1 circus now heads to Mexico City for the 2022 Mexican Grand Prix.
Max Verstappen continued his scintillating form in 2022 claiming his 13th win of the season and helping Red Bull wrap up their first Constructors’ Championship since 2013.
Behind him, Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton returned to the podium after five races. However, with three races to go, the seven-time world champion is in danger of losing his record of winning at least one race in every season he has contested.
With both the Drivers’ and Constructors’ championships done and dusted, the attention will now turn to the fight for second with Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc and Red Bull’s Sergio Perez separated by just two points.
Given Red Bull’s dominance this year, the Milton Keynes-based outfit will be looking to help Perez finish ahead of the Monegasque driver and mark what would then be a perfect season.
