Formula 1 is back in Europa for the 2022 Spanish Grand Prix, after a hyped trip to Miami and another Max Verstappen win in the Formula 1 season, so, make sure you know where to watch the Spanish GP on TV in the UK, USA and Australia.

Max Verstappen dominated the last race and brought home his Red Bull in first place at the Miami GP, making it two wins in a row for the Dutchman. However, the Ferrari pair of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz weren’t far behind in the USA. 

Red Bull have seemingly eked out a slight advantage on Ferrari, with the Scuderia hoping an update package will allow them to bounce back at the Spanish GP with their last win coming in Australia.  

When is the Spanish GP 2022?

The 2022 Spanish GP will take place of the weekend go May 20 to May 22. Practice 1 and Practice 2, along with the pre-race media sessions will take place on Friday, with Practice 3 and Qualifying on Saturday as is always the case. The race will take place on Sunday evening in Montmelo.

How to watch the 2022 Spanish GP in the UK?

Coverage in the UK will be provided by Sky Sports F1 with every single session being shown live as it happens from the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in Montmelo. For the race itself, you can join David Croft and Martin Brundle on commentary. 

Channel 4 will have highlights of both qualifying, and the race, with coverage of Saturday’s qualifying being shown at 18:45 BST on Saturday evening and highlights of the race itself at 18:30 BST on Sunday evening. You can also watch race highlights on Channel 4’s All 4 on streaming service.

How to watch the 2022 Spanish GP in the USA?

ESPN will have exclusive live coverage of every session from the 2022 Spanish GP which is available to subscribers. ESPN2 will have coverage of Practice 1 with Practice 2 on ESPNU on Friday, along with Saturday’s Practice 3 session. Qualifying will be shown on ESPN2. The Race will also be live on ESPN2, with ESPN Deportes having Spanish language coverage of the 2022 Spanish GP for viewers in the United States.

How to watch the 2022 Spanish GP in Australia?

In Australia, every session from the 2022 Spanish Grand Prix will be shown through Fox Sports 506 which is available via Foxtel. Highlights can be found on 10 Bold on Monday evening after the Spanish GP. Every race will also be streamed live as it happens from Montmelo via Kayo Sports
