Lawrence Stroll net worth: How much is the Aston Martin executive chairman worth?

Lawrence Stroll is the co-owner of the Aston Martin F1 team

    -

The Aston Martin Formula 1 team would seem unrecognisable without Lawrence Stroll’s part-ownership and his net worth is simply eye-watering.

The beginning of his wealth came from his father who brought Ralph Lauren clothing to Canada before Stroll himself took it to Europe.

Tommy Hilfiger and Michael Kors were other fashion brands that Stroll invested in and went on to big things while Sportswear Holdings, Stroll’s own company, also raked in the cash.

In 2020, Stroll led a consortium to invest £182 million into Aston Martin to claim a 16.7 percent stake in the company and see the name enter F1 the following year.

That wasn’t his first venture in motorsport as he owned Circuit Mont-Tremblant in Canada from 2000 to 2022.

How much is Lawrence Stroll worth?

According to Forbes, Stroll, the father of F1 driver Lance, is worth £2.45 billion as of February 2023.

A large part of that figure was his taking over of the Force India F1 team in 2018 which then rebranded to Racing Point.

The 2019 season saw the powerful figure put his own son in one of his cars for that season and Lance Stroll remains at the team to this day where he partners two-time world champion Fernando Alonso.

Stroll also owns a number of expensive cars such as a Ferrari 250GTO and the latest LaFerrari as he used to own a dealership of the prancing horse in Quebec.

He also has a Ford GT and a McLaren in his own personal garage.

Aston Martin could well be on for their best F1 season under Stroll‘s ownership in 2023 after Fernando Alonso started the new campaign with a podium on pure pace.

Lance also finished sixth in the opening race of the season despite battling on with a broken toe and injuries to both wrists following a cycling accident prior to pre-season testing, which he sat out.
