A brilliant drive from Nick Cassidy as the Envision driver came from 10th on the grid to claim victory at the Formula E 2023 Monaco E-Prix following a sensational battle with fellow Mitch Evans in the Jaguar.
Jake Hughes started on pole position in the McLaren, but after taking his first attack mode, the Brit was never able to get back up the order as Cassidy slowly climbed to first position. From there, he and Evans, who started sixth, traded blows for a number of laps before a late Safety Car allowed the Envision to claim the win.
The result means Cassidy now moves 21 points clear of Pascal Wehrlein in the Formula E driver standings, and 25 points ahead of Jake Dennis.
