Racing Bulls F1 Team history

The Faenza-based squad began as Minardi before Red Bull purchased it in 2006 and rebranded it as Toro Rosso, later AlphaTauri. The team’s defining moment came in 2008 when Sebastian Vettel scored a sensational pole and win at Monza—an enduring highlight.

In 2020, to promote its fashion brand, Red Bull rebranded the team as Scuderia AlphaTauri, capturing another win at Monza with Pierre Gasly and podium success in Baku.

For the 2025 season, the entry was renamed Racing Bulls, reflecting its role as Red Bull’s Italian sister squad. The identity aligns with its satellite positioning and growing technical independence while maintaining regulatory sharing with Red Bull Racing.

Operating as a tightly coordinated but distinct unit, Racing Bulls continues to utilize shared components where allowed, while managing its own aerodynamic and operational path to climb the standings.
