F1 Standings after Dutch Grand Prix 2024

Lando Norris of McLaren claimed a dominant victory at the 2024 Dutch GP, so how do the Formula 1 Drivers' and Constructors' Championship standings look?

-

Lando Norris secured his second Formula 1 victory at the 2024 Dutch Grand Prix dominating Max Verstappen and cutting into his lead in the F1 driver standings after the Dutch GP.

Despite losing the lead at the start to Verstappen, Norris fought back, capitalising on superior race pace and tyre management to reclaim the lead and dominate the race. He finished 20 seconds ahead of Verstappen, denying the local hero his fourth consecutive home victory.

Verstappen started strong, overtaking Norris at the first corner and pulling away early in the race. However, as the race developed, the Dutch driver began to struggle with grip issues, which allowed Norris to close the gap and eventually overtake him before the pit stops.

Once ahead, Norris controlled the race, extending his lead and taking the chequered flag comfortably. To cap off his victory, Norris also secured the fastest lap on the final lap, earning an additional point at Zandvoort.
