F1 Standings after 2024 British Grand Prix

How do the 2024 F1 Driver and Constructor Championship Standings look after Lewis Hamilton took victory for Mercedes at the British GP at Silverstone

An emotional 2024 British Grand Prix saw Lewis Hamilton take a record-breaking win at Silverstone, outsmarting Lando Norris and holding off the threat of Max Verstappen, despite that the Red Bull driver still managed to finish in the points and extended his lead in the F1 driver standings after the British GP.

Hamilton has made history by clinching a long-awaited and record-breaking ninth British GP victory in a thrilling race at Silverstone. The Mercedes driver triumphed over a strong challenge from McLaren’s Norris to take the win, marking his first P1 since the 2021 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.

Verstappen managed to overtake Norris in the latter stages to secure P2 for Red Bull. Despite a strong push on hard tyres in the final laps, Verstappen could not close the gap to Hamilton, who maintained his position to clinch an emotional victory.

Norris completed the podium in third, delivering a commendable performance for McLaren. His teammate Piastri finished in fourth, followed by Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz in fifth and an impressive Nico Hulkenberg in sixth for Haas.
