How do the 2024 Formula 1 Driver and Constructor Championship Standings look after Max Verstappen of Red Bull took victory at the Bahrain GP


Another Formula 1 season is here and it’s another victory for Max Verstappen who won the 2024 Bahrain Grand Prix as he took an early lead in the F1 Driver Standings.

Verstappen secured a commanding victory from pole at the Bahrain GP, leading Red Bull to a one-two finish with Sergio Perez in second. Carlos Sainz claimed third for Ferrari after battling teammate Charles Leclerc, who finished fourth.

Mercedes faced battery issues, affecting George Russell and Lewis Hamilton, who ended behind McLaren‘s Lando Norris. Oscar Piastri and Fernando Alonso also scored points, with Aston Martin‘s Lance Stroll recovering to tenth after an early incident.

Zhou Guanyu, Kevin Magnussen, and the RB duo of Daniel Ricciardo and Yuki Tsunoda followed, with Williams and Alpine facing challenges. Verstappen‘s win marked a strong start to his championship defense

F1 2024 Constructor Standings after Bahrain GP

Meanwhile in the 2024 F1 Constructor Standings, Red Bull took maximum points from the race in Bahrain thanks to a 1-2 in the race and fastest lap for Verstappen. Ferrari find themselves in a comfortable seconf place, and battle for third is between Mercedes and McLaren at this early stage.
