    Max Verstappen took a commanding win at the 2022 Spanish Grand Prix and now leads the 2022 Driver Standings for the first time in 2022. His championship rival Charles Leclerc looked on course to claim his third win of the season until his power-unit gave up. The Monegasque driver slips down to second in the standings.

    Verstappen’s teammate Sergio Perez claimed second place and strengthens his hold on third, while George Russell who finished third at the Spanish Grand Prix stays fourth.
