F1 Singapore GP 2023 Schedule

The flyaway part of the 2023 Formula 1 season begins with the Singapore Grand Prix

-

The Singapore Grand Prix will host the 16th round of the 2023 Formula 1 season. Find out the session times for the event at the Marina Bay Street Circuit as the field look to stop Red Bull and Max Verstappen.

Singapore has been on the calendar since 2008 and is home of the first ever F1 night race. It didn’t feature on the schedule on 2020 and 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic but returned in 2022, where Sergio Perez was victorious in wet conditions.

The 2023 Singapore GP takes place on the weekend of September 15-17 and will be a 61-lap race. Red Bull continue to dominate the season, having won every race so far and Verstappen leads the F1 driver standings by 145 points from teammate Sergio Perez.

Red Bull can secure the constructors’ championship this Sunday if they have a one-two and Mercedes fail to score any points. If Red Bull have a one-two and fastest lap, they can afford for Mercedes to score one point to win the title.

When is the 2023 Singapore GP?

The 2023 Singapore GP will take place at the Marina Bay Street Circuit, which has a new layout as the final sector features four less corners compared to previous years due to construction work. Qualifying is scheduled for 14:00 UK time on Saturday and the race at 13:00 on Sunday.
