Saudi Arabian Grand Prix weather update: What will the conditions be like in Jeddah?

Saudi Arabian Grand Prix weather: How hot will it be and how will conditions affect the F1 race on Sunday?

Sergio Perez starts on an unlikely pole position for the 2023 Saudi Arabian GP after Red Bull teammate Max Verstappen had a mechanical problem in qualifying, but what effect will the weather conditions play on the F1 race in Jeddah?

Joining Perez on the front row of the grid in Saudi Arabia is Fernando Alonso in the Aston Martin after Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc incurred a 10-place grid drop.

Could Aston Martin use a mix of weather conditions and strategy to usurp Red Bull at the Saudi Arabian GP? Or could we see Verstappen slice his way through the field from 15th on the grid?

Saudi Arabian GP Weather

With the race taking place in the Middle East, no rain is expected. Temperatures will drop from a high of 32 degrees Celsius in the mid-afternoon to around 26 degrees Celsius by lights out, with another one degree drop during the race.

Humidity will be around 36 percent and there will be a gentle breeze going north north west of around 17km/h, though gusts of 30km/h are also expected which could cause problems to the drivers.
