F1 Miami GP 2025 – Sprint Race Results

-

Lando Norris claimed victory in the second sprint of the season after a chaotic and rain-affected session, capitalizing on a perfectly timed safety car to finish ahead of Oscar Piastri and Lewis Hamilton. Check out the full results from the F1 2025 Miami GP Sprint Race.

The race began with two formation laps and a red flag due to heavy rain and poor visibility but eventually got a standing start as rookie Kimi Antonelli led the field from pole, but a poor getaway allowed Piastri to take the lead at Turn 1 at the Miami International Autodrome.

As the track dried mid-race, Yuki Tsunoda rolled the dice by switching to slick tyres and caused flurry of pit stops to follow, only for chaos to ensue when Max Verstappen was released unsafely into Antonelli‘s path, damaging his car and earning a 10-second penalty.

Norris, meanwhile, benefited when Piastri pitted just before Fernando Alonso crashed out after contact from Liam Lawson. The resulting safety car allowed the Brit, who had just stopped, to rejoin in front.

With the race not restarted due to cleanup, Norris sealed his first Sprint Race win of the year, edging closer to his championship rival in fortuitous fashion at the F1 2025 Miami GP.

Here are the results below.
