Max Verstappen led the 2022 Mexican GP from start to finish in another dominant win for Red Bull

-

Max Verstappen made things look all too easy as he surged to victory at the 2022 Mexican Grand Prix for his 14th win of the season, breaking the record held by Sebastian Vettel and Michael Schumacher

It looked like we would have a tactical battle between Red Bull and Mercedes, with the former starting on soft tyres, and the latter on medium. Both Verstappen, and teammate Sergio Perez pitted earlier for mediums, with Hamilton and George Russell moving onto hards.

However, it wasn’t to be as the medium tyres didn’t have the wear expected allowing Verstappen to complete 46 laps with the mediums and take a comfortable win ahead of Hamilton and Perez
