Haas driver Nikita Mazepin will miss the final race of the 2021 season after testing positive for Covid-19. The Russian is only experiencing mild symptoms and will now isolate himself as part of the Covid protocol.
Given the timing of results, Haas will only run one car for the season ender with Mick Schumacher the sole representative of the American outfit.
Mazepin will end his first year in the sport in 21st place in the Drivers’ Championship in what was an abysmal year for the Haas F1 team.
