Latest weather forecast for 2022 Belgian GP

    -

F1 is back this weekend after the summer break and heading to the Ardennes Forest and the historic Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps for the 2022 Belgian GP.

Last year’s race went down as the shortest in F1 history as the track was hit with torrential rain, causing the Grand Prix to be abandoned after just two laps of running with drivers awarded half points.

Hopefully conditions will be better this year at the iconic race, but what is the latest weather forecast for the Belgian GP 2022?

Friday, Practice 1 and Practice 2

Conditions are expected to be mostly overcast for the first two practice sessions of the weekend on Friday, August 26. There is a chance that the second session could see some rain, while temperatures will average around 22 degrees Celsius.

    Saturday, Practice 3 and Qualifying

Things look to be a bit bright for the Belgian GP qualifying session this year than it was in 2021, with a small chance of showers in the morning but a dry afternoon forecast.

    Sunday, Race

Good news for everyone who wants to see more than two laps of racing- there is not forecast to be rain for the Belgian GP on Sunday, August 28, with a dry day forecast and temperatures averaging around 22 degrees once again.
