Max Verstappen was the class of the field on the Strip and led Red Bull to a double podium at the 2023 Las Vegas Grand Prix as Formula 1 put on a Sin City show for the first time in 40 years.
The Red Bull driver jumped pole-sitter Charles Leclerc into Turn 1, and received a five-second penalty for his efforts, not that it mattered as he took the chequered flag.
It looked as if Sergio Perez was going to make a one-two for Red Bull after he made the most of a lock up by the Ferrari of Leclerc, but going into the final corner, on the final lap, Leclerc dived down the inside of the Mexican to re-take second place.
