Ahead of the return of Formula 1 to Las Vegas for the first time since 1982, Ferrari have unveiled a special livery for the 2023 Las Vegas Grand Prix.
The 2023 Las Vegas GP marks the second special livery of 2023 for the Scuderia, and sees the front and rear wings painted white rather than traditional red.
Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz will wear one-off red and white overalls for the Las Vegas proceedings. Ferrari’s ardent Tifosi can purchase items from the team’s limited edition ‘Back to Vegas’ collection.
Ferrari also had a special design at the 2023 Italian GP at Monza, paying homage to the 2023 Le Mans 24 Hours winning team by adding yellow to the livery and driver overalls.
The change in livery seemed to turn Ferrari’s fortunes around as Sainz sent the Tifosi into frenzy with pole position ahead of Max Verstappen and Leclerc before finishing third in the Italian GP.

Currently Ferrari are third in the constructors’ championship after a tricky season with Sainz taking the team’s sole win of 2023 at the Singapore GP ahead of Lando Norris and Lewis Hamilton.
A year of special liveries
With F1 relaxing regulations on livery changes in recent years, teams have taken advantage of their newly found freedom to create new paint schemes for their home race or a milestone in their team’s history.

Red Bull have brought special liveries to the Miami and United States GPs as part of the ‘make your mark’ competition, where fans design the team’s livery for that particular weekend’s race.
Las Vegas is the final leg of Red Bull’s ‘make your mark’ competition, with voting closed at the time of writing.
Red Bull, Alfa Romeo, McLaren and Williams have changed liveries three times in 2023, with Alpine, Aston Martin and Haas altering their designs only once.
Mercedes and AlphaTauri have yet to make changes to their livery in 2023.
