Max Verstappen dominated the Emilia Romagna GP at Imola, leading from start to finish, to take his second win of the 2022 Formula 1 season, ahead of Red Bull teammate Sergio Perez.
In contrast to the F1 Sprint on Saturday, it was Leclerc who got a poor start as he went from second to fourth behind Sergio Perez and Lando Norris, though he regained the place from the McLaren.
But with the race going into the final 10 laps, Leclerc put his Ferrari into the barriers and damaged his front wing meaning an unscheduled late pit stop which saw him go from third to sixth.
We also saw a Safety Car on Lap 1 after Daniel Ricciardo hit the back of Carlos Sainz, sending the Ferrari driver into the gravel.
