-

Max Verstappen was head and shoulders above the rest at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez as he dominated the 2022 Mexican Grand Prix, winning comfortably from MercedesLewis Hamilton and Red Bull teammate Sergio Perez.

The Ferrari drivers of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz were way off the pace and that allowed Hamilton to jump Sainz in the Driver Standings, while Perez moved into second place above Leclerc.

With Fernando Alonso retiring for Alpine and Daniel Ricciardo putting in a Driver of the Day performance for McLaren allowed the Woking based team to reel in their French counterparts.
