F1 Standings after 2024 Miami Grand Prix

How do the 2024 Formula 1 Driver and Constructor Championship Standings look after Max Verstappen of Red Bull took victory at the Miami GP in the USA

Lando Norris achieved his first-ever Formula 1 victory at the 2024 Miami Grand Prix, prevailing over Red Bull’s Max Verstappen in a spectacular breakthrough performance, so how has the McLaren driver’s win affected the F1 Driver and Constructor Standings.

Starting sixth, the Norris driver capitalized on a mid-race Safety Car that allowed him to extend his initial stint and emerge from the pits in the lead. Despite an immediate challenge from Verstappen following the restart, Norris maintained control and gradually pulled ahead, demonstrating composure to claim victory after 110 attempts.

Verstappen secured second place, hindered by balance issues that kept him from challenging for the lead. Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc rounded out the podium, finishing just ahead of teammate Carlos Sainz, who later collided with Norris’s teammate, Oscar Piastri.

That incident forced the Australian into the pits for a new front wing. Sergio Perez finished fifth for Red Bull, while Mercedes drivers Lewis Hamilton and George Russell managed sixth and eighth respectively.

Yuki Tsunoda delivered more points for RB in seventh, as Aston Martin’s Fernando Alonso finished ninth. Esteban Ocon capitalized on Piastri’s problems to secure 10th, bringing a morale-boosting first point of the season for Alpine.
