How do the 2024 Formula 1 Driver and Constructor Championship Standings look after Max Verstappen of Red Bull took victory at the Emilia Romagna GP at Imola

Max Verstappen was made to work for his victory at the 2024 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, prevailing over Lando Norris in the McLaren who was just 0.7 seconds behind the Red Bull star, so how has the that win affected the F1 Driver and Constructor Standings.

Charles Leclerc finished third, securing the final podium position for Ferrari in front of their home crowd. Oscar Piastri claimed fourth for McLaren, while Carlos Sainz finished fifth, adding to Ferrari’s points tally.

Lewis Hamilton took sixth place for Mercedes, followed by teammate George Russell in seventh, who secured the fastest lap after a late pit stop. Sergio Perez finished eighth for Red Bull, recovering from a difficult qualifying session, while Lance Stroll secured ninth for Aston Martin. Yuki Tsunoda completed the Top 10 with a strong drive for RB.

Further down the field, Nico Hulkenberg and Kevin Magnussen of Haas finished 11th and 12th respectively. Daniel Ricciardo crossed the line in 13th for RB, followed by Esteban Ocon in 14th for Alpine.

Following the 2024 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, Max Verstappen‘s lead in the 2024 F1 Driver Standings has increased from 33 points to 48, with Red Bull driver Sergio Perez now overtaken by Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc in the standings. While Carlos Sainz of Ferrari and was also leapfrogged by Norris who now has an eight point advantage.

F1 2024 Constructor Standings after Emilia Romagna GP

Meanwhile in the 2024 F1 Constructor Standings, Red Bull‘s lead over Ferrari has increased to 56 points after Verstappen‘s win and in Imola. McLaren trail in third by 58 points, and have now opened up a 75-point gap to Mercedes, with the Silver Arrows in fifth, ahead of Aston Martin.
