F1 Standings after 2023 United States Grand Prix

Max Verstappen took victory at the 2023 US GP, so how do the Formula 1 Drivers' and Constructors' Championship standings look?

Another Formula 1 race and another Max Verstappen win but this time the Dutchman had a fight on his hands to guarantee victory at the 2023 United States Grand Prix as he further asserted his dominance in the F1 Driver Standings.

The Red Bull driver bagged his 50th win in F1 at the Circuit of the Americas but crossed the finish line just 2.2s ahead of Lewis Hamilton in the Mercedes, and was complaining about his brakes throughout the US GP.

Hamilton made good use of his medium tyres and spent the final few laps hunting down first Lando NorrisMcLaren then Verstappen, though he ran out of laps in his chase of the Red Bull driver.

However, after the race both Hamilton and Charles Leclerc were disqualified after the plank under their car was found to have worn down too much.

With Verstappen confirmed as 2023 world champion, the race is on between his Red Bull teammate Sergio Perez and Hamilton for second place, with the Mercedes man losing ground to the Mexican in the Driver Standings after his disqualification. As a result of that, Logan Sargeant also bagged his first points in F1.
