F1 Brazilian GP 2023 Sprint Weekend Schedule

Formula 1 makes its annual trip to the Interlagos for the Brazilian GP

The Brazilian Grand Prix will host the 20th round of the 2023 Formula 1 season. Find out the session times for the event at Interlagos.

Three-time world champion Max Verstappen will look to surpass Alain Prost’s 51 wins on Sunday which would put him fourth in the all-time Grand Prix winners list.

Verstappen has won just once at Interlagos, in 2019, and Red Bull suffered a rare off weekend in 2022 as Mercedes took a 1-2 with George Russell taking a maiden F1 victory.

Mercedes are 22 points ahead of Ferrari in the fight for second in the constructors’ championship and this weekend sees the final Sprint event of the season.

That means there will be competitive action with Friday qualifying, the Sprint Shootout and Sprint Race on Saturday, plus the main Grand Prix on Sunday.

When is the 2023 Brazilian GP?

The 2023 Brazilian GP will take place at Interlagos but there will be a change to the normal schedule as it’s a Sprint weekend.

Friday will see qualifying for the main race scheduled for 18:00 UK time (15:00 local) and the Grand Prix itself at 17:00 UK time (14:00 local) on Sunday.

Saturday will see another qualifying session, known as the Sprint Shootout, which will set the grid for the Sprint Race later in the day, which is at 18:30 UK time (15:30 local).
