Belgian GP 2022 Live TV Schedule


After a well-deserved summer break, the paddock heads to Belgium and the Circuit de Spa Francorchamps for the 2022 Belgian GP.

The last race at the Hungarian GP saw championship leader Max Verstappen stretch his lead at the top of the standings for Red Bull, as yet another strategy error cost Charles Leclerc and Ferrari a chance to narrow the gap.

Can the Scuderia take the fight back to the frontrunners after a few weeks off? Here is everything you need to know about where to watch the Belgian GP in the UK, USA and Australia.

When is the Belgian GP 2022?

The 2022 Belgian GP will run over the weekend of August 26 to August 28. The pre-race media sessions will take place on Thursday, with Practice 1 and Practice 2 on Friday. Practice 3 and Qualifying will be on Saturday as is always the case. The race will take place on Sunday after at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps.

How to watch the 2022 Belgian GP in the UK?

Coverage in the UK will be provided by Sky Sports F1 with every single session being shown live as it happens from the Circuit Paul Ricard in France. For the race itself, you can join David Croft and Martin Brundle on commentary. 

Channel 4 will have highlights of both qualifying, and the race, with coverage of Saturday’s qualifying being shown at 18:30 BST on Saturday evening and highlights of the race itself at 18:30 BST on Sunday evening. You can also watch race highlights on Channel 4’s All 4 on streaming service.

You can follow live radio coverage of the 2022 French Grand Prix on BBC Radio 5 Live. Commentary comes from Jack Nicholls and Jennie Gow, plus ex-F1 driver Jolyon Palmer starts at 14:00 BST.

How to watch the 2022 Belgian GP in the USA?

ESPN will have exclusive live coverage of every session from the 2022 Belgian GP which is available to subscribers. ESPNU will have coverage of Practice 1, with Practice 2 on Friday moving to ESPN2, along with Saturday’s Practice 3 session and Qualifying.

The Race will be live on ESPN, with ESPN Deportes having Spanish language coverage of the 2022 Belgian GP for viewers in the United States.

How to watch the 2022 Belgian GP in Australia?

In Australia, every session from the 2022 Belgian Grand Prix will be shown through Fox Sports 506 which is available via Foxtel.

You can get the highlights on 10 Bold on Monday evening after the Belgian GP. Every race will also be streamed live as it happens from the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps via Kayo Sports
