Late red flag drama saw Max Verstappen bring home his Red Bull for what turned out to be a crazy 2023 Australian GP.
After a sensational start to the 2023 Australian GP saw the Mercedes pair of Lewis Hamilton and George Russell jump Verstappen’s Red Bull, but that good work was undone when an Alex Albon brought out the red flag, just after Russell had pitted under a previous safety car.
Then we had two further red flags in the final three laps of the race, with six cars including Fernando Alonso and both Alpines crashing out.
Charles Leclerc’s disastrous start to the season continued as his Ferrari was tagged by Lance Stroll‘s Aston Martin at Turn 1 and the Monegasque driver found himself beached in the gravel.
