A dominant Charles Leclerc led the 2022 Australian Grand Prix from start to finish as he picked up his second win of the Formula 1 season, coming in ahead of Sergio Perez in the Red Bull, with George Russell taking third place at Albert Park.
World Champion Max Verstappen started second, and was running second, before a mechanical failure ended his race on Lap 38, making it two DNFs this season for the Red Bull driver.
The second Ferrari of Carlos Sainz was out early in the race, spinning on Lap 2, which capped a poor weekend for the Spaniard after he only qualified in ninth position.
