It’s time for the 2025 British GP as half-a-million fans head to Northamptonshire for the weekend’s spectacle of F1 racing, and six drivers are marking the occasion in style by debuting fresh helmet designs and liveries for this special weekend. Here’s what to watch out for.
With Lando Norris chasing glory, Lewis Hamilton debuting for Ferrari and George Russell looking to stand on the podium here for the first time, there’s a lot of expectation on the British racers, before even getting to Alex Albon and Oliver Bearman too.
Norris aims to eat into a 15-point gap to his McLaren teammate, Oscar Piastri, at home whilst Max Verstappen is under pressure and bids to keep his dwindling championship hopes alive, as well as his future at Red Bull.
Hamilton returns with Ferrari for the first time, one year after a fairy-tale win with Mercedes, as the seven-time world champion will look to extend his incredible record of 12 consecutive podiums whilst also becoming the first driver to win at a single circuit 10 times.
He got that weekend off in fine fashion by topping Friday’s Free Practice 1 session ahead of the two McLaren cars, suggesting he could already be a contender but challenges will no doubt be coming his way.
So as the action intensifies, six drivers have unveiled brand-new designs for the occasion, and Total-Motorsport.com have got them all in this weekend’s edition of Helmet Watch.
