F1 2024 Monaco GP – Practice 2 Results

Charles Leclerc was fastest in FP2 at the 2024 Monaco GP, with Max Verstappen over 0.5s behind the Ferrari driver

With Free Practice 2 complete at the 2024 Monaco Grand Prix, Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc was fastest in the session, just ahead of seven-time Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton in the Mercedes.

There is hope in the Mercedes garage as Hamilton was quickest in FP1 and another strong showing in FP2 has heightened expectations of a positive result in the Principality. Fernando Alonso in the Aston Martin was third fastest.

Max Verstappen was complaining about the ride in his Red Bull throughout the session, indicating it was too bumpy, while the Red Bull driver also hit the wall just before entering the tunnel.

The quickest McLaren was Lando Norris in fifth place, slightly ahead of Carlos Sainz in the sister Ferrari. Lance Stroll and Sergio Perez were seventh and eighth, with Alex Albon and George Russell, who was complaining about vibrations in his steering, rounding out the Top 10.
