F1 2024 Emilia Romagna GP Starting Grid – Final Grid Positions

The F1 2024 Emilia Romagna GP starting grid is set with Max Verstappen in first position. Joining him at the front is McLaren’s Lando Norris, with Charles Leclerc of Ferrari close behind in third

Max Verstappen has continued his impressive streak by clinching P1 on the starting grid for the 2024 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix. The Dutchman set an unbeatable lap time of 1:14.746 during the final stages of Q3 in Imola to secure his eighth consecutive pole position.

Oscar Piastri was second in qualifying by just 0.074 seconds, but was then given a three place grid drop for impeding Kevin Magnussen’s Haas in Qualifying. That means, his McLaren teammate, Lando Norris, will start from second position.

Charles Leclerc will lead the Ferrari charge from third on the grid, with Carlos Sainz starting just behind him in fourth as they look to capitalise on a new upgrade package which looked strong in the early practice sessions at Imola.

Mercedes’ George Russell earned sixth place on the grid, while Yuki Tsunoda impressed by securing seventh in the RB, thrilling the home crowd. Lewis Hamilton will start eighth for Mercedes, with Daniel Ricciardo of RB and Nico Hulkenberg of Haas completing the top ten positions on the starting grid.
