F1 2024 Bahrain GP – Qualifying Results

Max Verstappen took pole at the Bahrain International Circuit to kick off the 2024 F1 season

After all of the secrecy and privacy through Formula 1 testing and free practice sessions, we finally have the order of the grid revealed and the man at the top of the pile is Max Verstappen as he took pole position for the 2024 Bahrain Grand Prix.

The Dutch driver never looked in trouble throughout qualifying and delivered a pole lap of 1:29.179 to start from the front for the race 0.228 tenths ahead of Charles Leclerc in second. He had some help from McLaren’s Oscar Piastri who unintentionally gave him a tow on the main straight.

George Russell lined up in third, followed by Carlos Sainz, Sergio Perez, Fernando Alonso, Lando Norris, Oscar Piastri, Lewis Hamilton and Nico Hulkenberg to round out the top 10 for the race which will start at 18:00 local time (15:00 GMT/10:00 EST/03:50 AEDT) on Saturday, March 2.
