F1 2023 Las Vegas GP – Practice 2 results

Ferrari were fastest in an extended FP2 at the 2023 Las Vegas GP

-

It may have been a disaster for Ferrari in FP1, but the Scuderia showed their pace in FP2 with Charles Leclerc the class of the F1 field, leading teammate Carlos Sainz at the Las Vegas GP practice.

Following the incident with the manhole cover in FP1, the second practice session was delayed by over two hours and lasted for 90 minutes with the session finishing at 04:00 local time in Las Vegas.

FP2 passed relatively incident free as Fernando Alonso seemingly confirmed Aston Martin‘s return to form as he ended the session third fastest. Sergio Perez was the quickest Red Bull as he looks to cement second place in the drivers’ championship this weekend.
