Just five minutes into first practice session at the 2023 Hungarian Grand Prix, Sergio Perez brought out the red flag after spinning into the barriers at Turn 5.
After series of poor qualifying performances, the Red Bull driver will find himself under even more pressure following his FP1 incident.
Following the red flag, the heavens opened and drenched the track which meant a lack of running from the cars with Alfa Romeo‘s Valtteri Bottas setting the opening time of the session almost 45 minutes in.
Nevertheless, the red flag was out again as Carlos Sainz spun in the Ferrari between Turn 3 and 4.
