Max Verstappen once again topped the timesheet as changeable conditions at Zandvoort led to plenty of track evolution in Free Practice 3 at the 2023 Dutch Grand Prix.
The wet session further highlighted the speed McLaren have in high downforce conditions as both cars were putting in fast times throughout the hour, with Oscar Piastri finishing seventh, and Lando Norris 10th.
There were multiple red flags in the session as drivers struggled in the changeable conditions, with F1 new boy Liam Lawson bringing out one of those.
Lawson, who replaced Daniel Ricciardo in the AlphaTauri, ended the session in 18th place before his incident at the final corner.
