Max Verstappen continued his early form at the British Grand Prix as he topped the charts in FP2 around the Silverstone Circuit.
The Dutchman enjoyed a gap of almost half a second earlier in the day, but by the chequered flag of the second session, the gap had been cut to 0.022s ahead of the Ferrari of Carlos Sainz.
There is work to be done at Maranello, as Charles Leclerc suffered an electrical issue that saw his SF-23 get no running through the session.
Alex Albon impressed again, finishing ahead of the other Red Bull of Sergio Perez. Albon‘s gap to Verstappen was 0.218s as the Thai-British Williams driver reduced the gap to his ex-teammate.
