F1 2023 Brazilian GP Starting Grid – Final Grid Positions

Max Verstappen got out before the rain began in Qualifying and will start from first place on the grid for the 2023 Brazilian GP

-

Max Verstappen got the best of the weather at Interlagos and put his Red Bull first on the starting grid for the 2023 Brazilian Grand Prix after a storm made it’s way across the circuit as Qualifying ended.

Charles Leclerc was another who got a lap in before Interlagos was drenched, and put his Ferrari second on the starting grid for the 2023 Brazilian GP.

There was also a comeback of sorts for Aston Martin as they locked out the second row of the grid with Fernando Alonso in fourth, out-qualified by Lance Stroll who starts third.

Mercedes, who expected to be much faster in Brazil, have Lewis Hamilton on the third row of the grid at Interlagos as he starts fifth. George Russell did qualify in sixth but was given a two-place grid penalty and is eighth.

Lando Norris is the best of the McLaren pair and starts sixth, but the team left things late in Qualifying and were victims of the weather as Oscar Piastri starts 10th after failing to post a time.

Carlos Sainz starts seventh for Ferrari and Sergio Perez is ninth in the sister Red Bull.
