Lando Norris managed to get the most out of his McLaren at Interlagos and will be first on the starting grid for the 2023 Brazilian Grand Prix Sprint Race.
The McLaren driver managed to beat out Max Verstappen in the Red Bull by just 0.061s in the Sprint Shootout after it was red flagged following a crash between Esteban Ocon’s Alpine and the Aston Martin of Fernando Alonso.
Sergio Perez in the sister Red Bull will start third on the grid, alongside George Russell in the Mercedes, who is fourth, just ahead of teammate Lewis Hamilton.
It was a strong session for AlphaTauri as Yuki Tsunoda will start in sixth position, ahead of Charles Leclerc in the lead Ferrari in seventh, and teammate Daniel Ricciardo in eighth. Carlos Sainz in the second Ferrari is ninth.
Oscar Piastri in the sister McLaren will start in 10th position for the 2023 Brazilian GP Sprint Race.
