Charles Leclerc held off the challenge from both Red Bull cars to ensure his Ferrari will be first on the starting grid for the F1 2023 Azerbaijan GP.
Red Bull have dominated the 2023 F1 season so far, claiming pole position in all the previous races, but Leclerc had the pace in his Ferrari to break that hold.
Sprint Race winner Sergio Perez will start the Grand Prix in third place, but feels he has more pace in his car. Meanwhile, Carlos Sainz in the sister Ferrari will start fourth.
Lewis Hamilton ensured Mercedes were the best of the rest and is fifth on the starting grid in Baku, just ahead of Aston Martin’s Fernando Alonso.
