    F1 2023 Australian GP – Practice 2 results

    The rain came out to play in Melbourne, and Fernando Alonso timed his fastest lap correctly, topping a disrupted FP2.

    Fernando Alonso timed his push lap to perfection as the two-time world champion went fastest in a rain-disrupted session.

    Charles Leclerc was over four tenths down in second, with Max Verstappen third fastest ahead of George Russell, Carlos Sainz and Esteban Ocon.
