As expected, Max Verstappen will line up first on the starting grid for the 2023 Australian Grand Prix, but surprisingly he will be surrounded by two Mercedes cars at Albert Park.
George Russell and Lewis Hamilton put in sensational performances in qualifying and placed their Mercedes cars in second and third, respectively, on the grid for Sunday’s race.
The Ferrari pair of Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc are sandwiched between the Aston Martin cars of Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll. While Alex Albon will start eighth in the Williams.
