Mercedes driver George Russell will forever remember Qualifying for the 2022 Hungarian Grand Prix, as he hooked up a special lap which put him on pole position of the starting grid for the first time in his Formula 1 career.
Joining Russell on the front row of the starting grid for the Hungarian GP is Carlos Sainz in the Ferrari, who qualified ahead of teammate Charles Leclerc.
McLaren’s Lando Norris made it to fourth on the starting grid, while Drivers’ Championship leader Max Verstappen is in 10th after he had power unit issues in Q3.
