F1 2022: Dutch GP Starting Grid

Red Bull's Max Verstappen is on pole position at Zandvoort, followed by Ferrari pair Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz

    -

Max Verstappen pulled another magnificent lap out the bag to take pole position on the starting grid at the 2022 Dutch GP, with the smallest gap between the top three drivers on the grid.

Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc was 0.021s behind the Red Bull driver, with Carlos Sainz 0.092s off first place on the starting grid.

Lewis Hamilton in the Mercedes was three tenths off, but were it not for a late Sergio Perez spin on the final corner, the Mercedes driver could also have put himself in the mix for pole.
