    F1 2022 Brazilian GP – Practice 1 Results

The session was the only practice runs the teams have available ahead of qualifying for the sprint race.

Sergio Perez took the top spot for Red Bull in the first practice session at the Brazilian GP.

In wet conditions which are expected to persist throughout the weekend in Sao Paolo, Perez just beat out Charles Leclerc and Max Verstappen to first place, the top three separated by just 0.008 seconds.

The session was the only time the teams will have to get to grips with the Interlagos circuit before qualifying for the final Sprint Race of the 2022 season.
