A superb qualifying performance from Charles Leclerc saw the Ferrari driver take pole position for the 2022 Azerbaijan Grand Prix, the sixth time this season in F1 the Monegasque will start in first.
Leclerc is followed by Sergio Perez in the Red Bull, who has been strong all weekend, and Max Verstappen follows in the second Red Bull. Carlos Sainz qualified in fourth.
The Ferrari and Red Bull cars are a class apart from the rest of the field, with fifth-places George Russell a whopping 1.3s down on Leclerc’s pole time.
