Lewis Hamilton dominated qualifying for the 2021 Formula 1 Turkish Grand Prix, putting his Mercedes in first place, but he will not take pole position for the race itself as he takes a 10-place grid penalty for changing parts of his power unit.
Valtteri Bottas will be in pole position as he moves up one place thanks to Hamilton’s penalty with Max Verstappen just behind the Finnish driver.
There were some surprises further down the grid thanks to the changeable conditions in Qualifying with Mick Schumacher taking his Haas to 14th position, and Daniel Ricciardo being eliminated in Q1.
