Betting and Odds on F1 2025 Miami GP

Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris are given the same odds for victory in Miami.

The 2025 Formula 1 season arrives at the Miami International Autodrome for Round 6, with momentum shifting rapidly as Oscar Piastri seizes the lead of the drivers’ standings. With challenges expected from Lando Norris and Max Verstappen, can he win? Here are the betting odds on the F1 2025 Miami GP.

The Miami circuit, built around the Hard Rock Stadium complex, is a street-style layout renowned for its combination of long straights and complex technical sections, creating a somewhat similar profile to the Jeddah Corniche Circuit – a good omen for Red Bull, who finished 2.8 seconds off the lead.

But McLaren have the edge and will look to build upon their start to the year from May 2-4, as they return to the venue that kick-started their resurgence to the very elite end of the F1 field.

This track rewards precision and agility, leaving narrow margins for error which, paired with its high-speed nature, make it a venue that often delivers unpredictable results with all of the polesitters failing to win at this track.

And the weekend is made all the trickier thanks to the Sprint Race format, which has been reintroduced at select events throughout the year. With just one practice session available before Sprint Qualifying locks in the setups under parc ferme regulations, preparation becomes paramount.

Teams are restricted in their ability to adapt the car once the weekend begins, heightening the chance for strategic missteps that can affect the race outcome—and betting markets; so here are the odds on the F1 2025 Miami GP.

Betting odds on F1 2025 Miami GP: Who is the favourite to win?

Piastri enters the Miami Grand Prix as the championship leader for the first time in his Formula 1 career. His recent form has been exceptional, collecting 97 points out of a possible 108 since his early-season error in Australia.

And his team, McLaren, seeking a third consecutive win and fifth of the season, as they emerge as the favourites to defend their constructors’ championship crown captured at the 2024 Abu Dhabi GP.

But one man trying to make sure Piastri doesn’t have it all his own way comes from within his own team as Norris aims to bounce back following a crash at the Saudi Arabian GP, a moment that saw him lose the lead of the drivers’ championship.

Verstappen, meanwhile, remains firmly in the title picture. While the RB21 car has proven inconsistent, Red Bull’s performance in Japan and Saudi Arabia suggests that, when dialled in, the Dutch driver remains the benchmark.

So as betting markets adjust to recent results, the odds heading into the Miami GP reflect the volatility at the front and shows just how finely poised this title battle is.

But who is tipped to win the first of three races in the United States? Interestingly, the McLarens cannot be split across the board. They have an exactly equal chance of winning the F1 2025 Miami GP according to bookmakers, setting up a thrilling weekend of action.

Who could be outside bets at the F1 2025 Miami GP?

Once again, the bookmakers have it falling to Verstappen to repel the rampant McLarens at the Miami International Autodrome as they price the defending world champion at a best-price of 5/1.

Outside of him, they’re not expecting Mercedes or Ferrari to make much of an impression. For the Silver Arrows, George Russell is offered odds of 12/1 and 14/1; whilst Kimi Antonelli is a long shot at 66/1 and 70/1 for his maiden career win.

Whilst for the Scuderia, Charles Leclerc ranges from 16/1 to 18/1 to take his first victory of the season whilst Lewis Hamilton is priced at 30/1 and 33/1 to claim his first Grand Prix triumph since the 2024 Belgian GP.

Yuki Tsunoda, Pierre Gasly, Alex Albon, Carlos Sainz and Isack Hadjar are given remote chances to upset the cards, whilst the remaining eight drivers on the grid are given no better hope than 500/1 odds.
