    The 2023 Australian GP marks the start of a mini-break in the Formula 1 season, so make sure you know where to watch the Australian GP on TV in the UK, USA and Australia.

    It has been Red Bull domination so far in the 2023 F1 season after two one-two finishes, with Fernando Alonso in the Aston Martin the nearest challenger to Sergio Perez and Max Verstappen

    Both Mercedes and Ferrari will be hoping for an improved showing in Melbourne, after two tough races in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. 

    When is the Australian GP 2023?

    The 2023 Australian GP will take place on the weekend of March 31 to April 2. The pre-race media sessions will take place on Thursday, with Practice 1 and Practice 2 on Friday. Practice 3 and Qualifying will be on Saturday as is always the case. The race will take place on Sunday afternoon at the Albert Park Circuit in Melbourne

    TV coverage of the 2023 Australian GP in the UK will be provided by Sky Sports F1 with every single session being shown live as it happens from the Albert Park Circuit in Melbourne, Australia. For the race itself, you can join David Croft and Martin Brundle on commentary. 

    Channel 4 will have highlights of both 2023 Australian GP qualifying, and the race, with coverage of Saturday’s qualifying session being shown at 11:15 BST on Saturday morning and highlights of the race itself at 12:30 BST on Sunday afternoon. You can also watch Australian GP race highlights on Channel 4’s All 4 on streaming service.
